Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is the study of how people interact with computer technology, and how to design and develop computer interfaces that are easy to use, efficient, and enjoyable. It combines elements of psychology, design, and computer science to create interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly. HCI has become increasingly important as technology has become more integrated into our daily lives. International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction visit: hci.sfconferences.com

Evolution of human-computer interaction
Evaluation tests the usability, functionality and acceptability of an interactive system. Simple operations like moving the mouse or erasing text faced users with never-before-seen problems, all of which posed major barriers to the computer's use. In the early 1980s, HCI emerged as an attempt to understand how and why computers could be made more user-friendly. We identify four types of evaluation strategies: (1) demonstration, (2) usage, (3) technical benchmarks, and (4) heuristics. Evaluation has three main goals: to assess the extent and accessibility of the system's functionality, to assess users' experience of the interaction, and to identify any specific problems with the system. hci.sfconferences.com Nomination link: https://x-i.me/prnom2 Registration link: https://x-i.me/prreg2 #heuristics #usability #haptics #funtionality
